Quiz & Pie night

At the beginning of March when the Spring bulbs have yet to make an appearance and the cold winds occasionally gust around the Fell, there's nothing better than a cosy night in front of a roaring fire...

...except there is!

Pie and Quiz night was a roaring success with a packed Parish hall and a buzz of excitement and competition in the air. The food was great and our quizmaster, Mike Littlewood gave us a lot to think about and amongst each team's table mates the head scratching about the correct answers to quite a few questions lasted through the evening.

There were a lot of smiles.
