CLASSES:
Section 1: Flowers & Plants
1. Cut Spring Flowers
2. Pot Plant – Flowering or Foliage
3. Bowl of Flowering Bulbs
4. Cactus or Succulent
Section 2: Floral Art
5. A Jug of Garden Flowers, arranged for decorative effect
6. A floral arrangement ‘A Mayday Celebration’ space allowed is 60cm
Section 3: Cookery
7. A Victoria Sponge, made in 1 tin, split and jam filled
8. 4 pieces of Tray Bake
9. 4 Sausage Rolls
10. 4 Scones
11. A Jar of Jam
12. A Jar of Marmalade
13. A Jar of Lemon Curd
14. A Jar of Chutney
15. 5 pieces of Fudge
16. A Bottle of Fruit Flavoured drink
Section 4: Handicraft
17. A Greetings Card in any medium
18. A Hat in any medium (may be split into different categories)
19. An Item of Woodwork, not exceeding 30cm x 30cm

27. A Painted Stone (maximum 30cm x 30cms)

Rules:
Entry forms must be completed and returned, along with 50p per entry, to Helen Todd, Fell House, Cartmel Fell, Windermere LA23 3PB or left in a clearly marked envelope at the Hare & Hounds, Bowland Bridge, LA11 6NN (Cheques made payable to Cartmel Fell Community Trust) by Sunday 27th April 2025.
Children’s Classes - no entry fee. Please state age on each entry.
Only 2 entries per exhibitor per class will be accepted
All entries will be grown or made by the exhibitor, except classes 5 & 6, where flowers may be bought
To help with the display of Artwork and Photography please bring exhibits to the Hall on Thursday 1st May between 6:00 pm and 8:30pm. All other exhibits should be delivered to the Hall between 8.30 and 10am on the day of the show. The Hall will close to the public from 10am – 12noon for judging. Entries may be removed after 4.30pm.
Entries exceeding specific dimensions will be automatically disqualified.
Every care will be taken to safeguard the exhibits, but the committee cannot be responsible for any damage or loss.
The Hall will re-open at 12noon.
Admission £1 – children free. Prize giving at 4pm.
Homemade Refreshments, Plant Stall, Raffle etc.
